Description

33rd Annual Cable Car Caroling
Saturday, December 2, 2017

PLEASE NOTE - This is a Private Ticket Reservation page for San Francisco Rotary, Rotaract or Interact members and their friends and families.

Cable Car Caroling, now a 33-year tradition in San Francisco, brings holiday cheer to isolated older adults and adults with disabilities at assisted living centers, skilled nursing facilities and individual homes across San Francisco. Last year over 500 carolers on 15 motorized cable cars sang holiday songs to more than 1,000 seniors and disabled adults.

Raising more than $100,000 in 2016, Cable Car Caroling funds go to support Institute on Aging's Friendship Line, the nation’s only accredited 24-hour crisis call center for lonely, isolated and depressed seniors and adults with disabilities.

Cable Car Caroling: From Generation to Generation
Our theme - “From Generation to Generation” – reflects the history and community participation of this event now in existence for over three decades. “Cable Car Caroling was an awesome opportunity to get plugged into the community and serve our seniors. It was moving and meaningful.” - Local Business Sponsor

YOU ARE INVITED:
On Saturday, December 2, 2017, we invite you to take part in the Institute on Aging’s 33rd Annual Cable Car Caroling fundraising event. Join us in supporting lonely and isolated older adults and adults with disabilities in our community. Hundreds of carolers gather at 12:30pm and after boarding cable cars and visiting 3-4 senior homes return for a hosted dinner, and a special holiday celebration with fun and prizes.
